DEVICE GENERAL SETTINGS
Device Global SettingsA. Network Type 3G ModeB. Roaming Enabled (ON)C. APN Should be configured exactly as suggested by TATA support These are the mandatory NetworkConfigurations parameters validfor all type of Devices which areusing MOVE SIM cards.
DEVICE SETTINGS – IPHONE
Network Selection to 3GMode1. STEP 1: Go to the Settings pageand select Mobile Data.2. STEP 2: Select Mobile DataOptions.3. STEP 3: Select “Voice & Data”and tick on 3G.Note: Device setting menu may varydepending on the IOS Operating versioninstalled on the device
Enable Data Roaming Mode1. STEP 1: Go to the Settings pageand select Mobile Data.2. STEP 2: Select Mobile DataOptions.3. STEP 3: Enable “Data Roaming”
Configure correct APN1. STEP 1: Go to the Settings pageand select Mobile Data Options2. Tap Mobile Data Network.3. Enter the APN as specified bysupport team and save thesetting.
1. View SMSC Address From the home screen, tap Phone Icon. If the dial pad is not visible, tap on Keypad. Enter *#5005*7672#, then tap Call. The current SMSC setting is shown on the screen.View and Update SMSCAddress Tap Dismiss1. View SMSC Address.2. Update SMSC Address2. Update SMSC Address. From the home screen, tap Phone Icon. If the dial pad is not visible, tap on Keypad. Enter *#5005*7672* SMSCNUMBER #, then tap Call.Tip: where SMSCNUMBER is replaced with the correct SMSC number in full international format provided by TATASupport. The message "Setting succeeded, Service Centre Address, No Address" will appear on screen. Tap Dismiss. For verification, Follow Step 1.Note: SMSC Address display menumay vary depending on the IOSOperating version installed on thedevice

1. View with SMS Application Launch SMS application on your phone.View and Update SMSCAddress Now tap on Menu and go to Settings. Scroll down and select the ‘SMSC Settings’. As soon as you open that you will be provided to edit the message centre number. Set it to the correct SMSC Address and then tap on OK button.1. With few of the Android version,View and update the SMSC Addresscan be performed via the SMSApplication2. View SMSC Address via dial Codes.2. View with Dial Codes From the home screen, tap Phone Icon. Tap on the dial pad. Enter *#*#4636#*#*, a menu will be displayed. Tap to select the “Phone information” menu. Scroll down and tap on the “REFRESH” button under “SMSC” submenu.Tip: DON’T PRESS UPDATE, PRESS “REFRESH” TO VIEW THE CURRENT SETTING. SMSC address will be displayed in the text box for you to note it down.Note: SMSC Address display menu mayvary depending on the AndroidOperating version installed on thedevice
3. Update with Dial Codes Tap on the dial pad.View and Update SMSCAddress Enter *#*#4636#*#*, a menu will be displayed. Tap to select the “Phone information” menu.3.Update SMSC Address via dial Codes. Scroll down and locate a blank space associated with SMSC option. Scroll down and tap on the “REFRESH” button under “SMSC” submenu. This will show thecurrent SMSC address configured. Now input the correct SMSC address provided in the full international format ( 91xxxxxxx)and click on “UPDATE” button. To verify, follow the steps 2.Tip: Some of the Android phones popup error while updating the SMSC address with above approach. In that caseplease insert the SIM in the another-android or non-android devices to modify the SMSC address.Note: SMSC Address display menu mayvary depending on the AndroidOperating version installed on thedevice
IDENTIFY THE SIM NUMBER
Locate SIM Number1. the SIM number can be locatedat the back of the SIM card.2. SIM card holder. The SIMnumber can also be obtainedfrom the SIM card holderreceived with the actual SIMcard.
