AdmissionsIowa Central Community College is a comprehensive college with an open admissions policy. Studentswho have not graduated from high school, or who are attending high school, may also enroll inprograms for which they qualify. The academic skills of all students will be assessed. The specificprogram for which an applicant may be accepted will depend upon such factors as the quality of his/herhigh school work and test scores.To complete admission procedures, the following requirements are necessary:1.2.3.4.5.6.7.Complete an Iowa Central application form.Provide a high school transcript or equivalent, plus official transcripts from any collegespreviously attended.Submit ACT or ACCUPLACER and ALEKS placement test scores (ACT/Accuplacer scores needto be within the last 3 years to be accepted – ALEKS scores must be within the last 18months).Non-native speakers of English must prove an adequate level of English language proficiencyfor admission into the nursing program.
